We want to provide our customers with the best tasting cookie. We hope that the design and decorations on the cookie are the "icing" on the cake, so to speak. Each cookie is sent out with the hope that it blesses the recipient as much as we are blessed making it. | |
| Bless My Bloomin' Cookies bloomed
in 2000 when Julie and Elise decided to leave their craft business
(Two Peddlers Are We) and venture into something more unique. After
Julie saw a TV show about using stamps and edible ink on cookies she
decided to call Elise with an exciting new venture. After stamping
the ink on these cookies, Elise felt it would be more artistic and
personal if each cookie was freehand painted. After mastering an eleven
step process to complete each masterpiece, the women decided to venture
into the business world. The 'Cookie Ladies' as they became widely
known, started out testing the cookies at craft shows and local events.
After receiving lots of positive feedback they really grew. Bless My Bloomin' Cookies had finally bloomed. |

| Julie Ussatis is a 1978 graduate of Enderlin. After high school she went to Valley City State College, before opening a daycare and preschool and raising her children. Julie married Kevin in 1979 and has since raised three children, Amber-27, Kodee-24, and Kasey-18. They recently purchased a farm that has been in Kevin's family for many generations. They currently reside on their farm near Nome, North Dakota. | Elise Nylander is a 1967
graduate of Cottonwood, Minnesota. After school she attended Moorhead
State College (MSUM) and graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science
degree in education. Elise then moved to the cities where she met
Bruce and married in 1972. She raised two children that are currently
in college Sarah-28 and Ben-24. Elise ran a daycare for 22 years
while being active in church choir and Sound Celebration. Elise
and Bruce reside in Lisbon, North Dakota. |
